A real easy one for new guys only,
Youve got an empty 1950s-60 flat you need to open and change the locks on. The 1st floor baloncy door is locked.an old critall /metal door with the lock seemingly built into the door, youve lost youre picks, wires etc and your boss will kill you if you get the black and decker out.How do you get it open/find a key

Its a mortice lock ,its in the middle rail of old critall doors, the only place it would go as the rest of the door is glass or very thin metal.I know it by a certain name but that may give the game away

Ok after a word with Chris maybe im being a little unfair in not giving you a name so.. What youre looking at is a panel lock,i always knew them by a different name BGA locks, now that should do make it simpler.
