Tension tools

I've been looking at some tension tools and was wondering if they're any good and worth buying?

I've been looking here:

I'm not exactly sure there's any kind of heated debate over tension tools for beginners. Just buy whatever, no one cares and no one will know the difference, not even you.

I don't know that I agree with this sentiment. I do think you should have a couple basic L shaped tension wrenches. I am partial to the twist-flex variety. The circular tension tool has been reviewed on this site by Varjeal. Have a search for that thread. I really feel that different tensioners will give you different feedback and can make a significant difference in picking. Start with the L shapes, but keep in mind the others for the future.

There I go, being shot down for shooting down a noob. I also prefer the twist-flex tension tools, but that wasn't my point =) I didn't feel like gracing this thread with a decent answer just because I didn't feel it was warranted. Therefore, I step out of this thread indefinitely!
