This ad claims that the lock is not pickable

Unique wafer cylinder is totally unpickable within internationally accepted U/L standards.

cormu: I think it's supposed to mean manipulation proof. But that's ridiculous too. Anyone have better links to show the keys? They look like standard keys to me. :roll: :roll:

Perhaps it's an Abloy-like wafer system. :?:

Diamond locks are the absolute worst locks. I have a diamond padlock and it opened when I droped it on the floor. :shock:

Actually, after thinking about it, more along the lines of nothing is unbypassable.

Darn the lack of edit button (and a sensor that edits darns more vulgar brother, but that's a different gripe)

my car has same thing and all things waht u can lock u can also unlock but if u open this lock then u have to wreck all gearbox and it takes i dont know how many h and its to hard to with that lock ,so let it be

The lock in the link looks to be that lock that has axially moving wafers in it. The key has "steps" cut on it that push those wafers in to certain depths and if they are correct, the key can turn and the lock opens.

Pickable, no doubt.

That lock looks like an ABA Pagoda, which is a lot harder to pick than you'd think. It's mentioned in Graham Pulford's book on page 196.
