How do you make a good lock pick for lets say 'doors' or Masterlock padlocks for practice??? Or can i just buy/get one from someone from this site? Mostly for fun and to unlock the closet that i locked some of my crap in and lost the key.
Shane
Thanks
Or send me a PM if you wish.

I would suggest using soda cans, coke or pepsi in particular (the acidic content of the drink makes it so they have to produce thicker cans). Just be sure to fold over the edges a little so you don't cut yourself. Some people have other suggestions, use the search fuction and read up a bit more.

Oh, I forgot to mention.
Yes, you can buy picks from this site. The best way is to post a short (2-3 paragraph) essay about yourself in all of the forums and also say why you want them. The reason being is people don't just sell to anyway, you need to be trustworthy. The reason you need to post in all the different forums is because most people lurk in only one forum, and not all of them. So in order to find someone selling you have to post in all of them.
As you learn more you will learn about how the forums works and such, for example how to use the search or private message functions. You will also learn to completely ignore certain people that will try to BS you, so keep an eye out for those people. Best of luck.

Well, your best bet is probobly to buy picks (see my second post above), but if you want to make them yourself, follow these instructions:
Take the can, and use scisors or something to cut the top off, and then cut a clean line down the side and cut the bottom off, so you should have a rectangular shape now (you can throw away the top and bottom). Now you want to cut the long piece into about 4 even pieces long-ways. Now take each of these four pieces, and fold them exactly in half (This is to strengthen them). Then cut them into the shape of a key (any key will do). Good luck. Once again, I strongly advise you to search to find a second opinion if you want.

(sorry, I keep forgetting things to add to my post)
Be very carefull when cutting the can, the edges can be very sharp. Wear good working gloves, and take your time.

Well then, MCM, I think I'll double as a second opinion here. Pretty much what MCM is right, except there is a better way to do this. You know that black device they showed in "Gone in 60 Seconds" for the cars? Make your own from the can, but for doors. Basically do what MCM said, but after copying the key, file it down a little. Then, put it into the lock and jiggle it. It should pop open in a few seconds. If it doesn't then adjust your wrist for a different angle, use more folds to thicken the metal, or copy another key. Searching will probally show the same results, but if you want to do that, hey, its your 2 minutes of your life.

You will have to first configure your computer to sync with the device through universal serial bus or some other similar protocal, then place the compact disc provided with the manufacturer of the camera into your opictal drive. After loading the disk, you should install the software drivers included on it so the camera and system can properly communicate. Then load and render the picture as you see fit (with a graphics editing program such as Adobe Photoshop), and export it to your hard drive as a jpg, gif, or other such acceptable file format. Also make sure to name the file an appropriate title. Next you have to connect to your ISP and find a server which provides HTTP hosting for you. After adding yourself to their database tables and obtaining a log in ID and password string, log onto their systems and upload the file in question to their servers, taking note of the URL of the file. Then copy and past the URL to these forums. Good luck.

Please don't actually try the can thing.
Though his explanation of how to upload an image was accurate, detailed, and completely useless.
