I did ask them, but he said this:

Your order would have to be shipped via UPS. From the Boston area it would
take approzimately a week to arrive.
You would need to send a quick email after placing the order requesting UPS
service.

When I emailed back asking what the email was, I didnt get a response, so I came here to ask.

I dont want to order it, screw up, then get tackled by 18 swat dudes (exageration)

They must think you are a few brain cells short of a full collection.

You don't seem competent to own lockpicks. Perhaps you should give up on the lockpicking idea and try something simpler?

You got the wrong idea. I clicked the "live help" button which preceeded to take me to a "leave us a message" page. I asked them if it was ok for me to use usps and they said that.

I dont think 2 days would be considered "quick" so I doubt they meant, "hey order it, then click live help, and we will fix it"

Seeing as how they say they ship 1-2 days after the order is placed, it wouldn't work that well now would it?

Consider yourself ribbed.

But there is really lots of information on their How To Order page.

You live in California, where I live. Assuming you are of legal age, and you have a credit card, and you are just ordering a regular lockpick set, you can accept the normal delivery by USPS and your pick set will arrive fine.

If you do not meet the above criteria, you will have to follow their instructions carefully. They do have email links on the above mentioned web page.

in fact... they've been doing it for exactly the same amount of time as you think they have.....

I had no problems ordering picks from both Southord.com and lockpickshop.com. but you may have problems because you are under 18 and lockpickshop.com doesn't process orders from uner 18's.

Since you are legally a minor, I don't think you are allowed to buy lockpicks. Your mother could buy them, but you would have to ask her to place the order and pay with her credit card. If LockPickShop finds out the picks are for you and you are under age, they may not accept the order due to their legal obligations.

You could consider making picks as an alternative to buying. It is cheaper, and is more in keeping with the hobbiest and educational aspect of things. There is lots of information on this site about making picks out of all sorts of things.
