Making a HOMEMADE lock pick

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

It's not that I mess with noobs, just that I mess with people who don't help themselves and expect the world to do everything for them.

You have got to be kidding me... most noobs actually learn their lesson after being flamed and yelled at. You on the other hand... you keep up like this your never going to learn anything. The only way your going to learn anything is by searching and reading yourself. You are not going to be spoon fed, see that little button at the top, that says "search"? With the little blue magnifying glass? Click it now, and search for your questions. Someone even posted a link to a MOVIE ABOUT MAKING YOUR OWN PICKS, and you can't even watch that. Your hopeless. Another thing that would help your case is if you at least attempt to spell correctly. I know I'm not exactly a good role model as far as spelling, but at the very least try to use capitalization and punctuation.

No, I'm afraid that doesn't seem to work either, 'cause you've been told several times to search for the answers you seek, and have even been given helpful suggestions on how to search for your answers and yet you refuse to do it. This may not be what you want to hear, but this attitude is not going to win you any friends or any help around here. Nobody owes you anything sir. Boards are supposed to be helpful? Yeah, this one is so helpful that we've given you all the answers in stickies and FAQs so you can find them easily, if you even bother to look for it.

Ugh. There has really been a lot of this lately. Sorry guys. I know I'm not usually one to go off. It is wearing my resistance down.

I know there are n00bs out there that have been lurking and waiting to make their first post. They've taken the time to read the FAQ's and use the search button. We often don't get to hear from these guys until after they've done their due diligence, and then when we do it goes unnoticed because it is coherant and valuable. :) I thank each of you that has taken that time.

As for you deputy, it's not too late. This forum will forget all about this little faux pas and welcome you with open arms when you start asking good questions and contributing in a useful way.

As always... happy picking!

Do a search

Postby Murph » 18 May 2005 7:19

deputy865, since you are only 15(I believe you mentioned that in your original post), you have a lot to learn. The only way you are going to get anywhere in life is to take initiative yourself and seek out answers by doing research. That is what this forum is for, doing research as well as exchanging thoughts and ideas with others. As you can see, I have been in this forum not quite a year, so before I post a message about about something that I am looking for, I will do an exhaustive search first. If I still cannot find it, then I'll look outside this website using Google or another search tool. My lesson to you is, when you research for information yourself, you learn and retain the information better, plus, while you are doing that research, I guarantee that you will find something else unrelated to your search that also interests you and perhaps something useful for later use. Been there, done that.
So, use the search tool in this forum and start learning something.
Since you are still in school, when you have to write a report for class, does your teacher do the research for you? I doubt it.

Now that I am finished preaching, it's back, to reading posts and learning more.
I don't work, I participate.
