What are jigglers, or jugglers, or whatever they are called?
The ones that open cars?
How do they work, why is it that picking cars open is so easy?

Not sure where you got that it was easy........ they are typically harder to pick than most pin tumblers.

But isnt the "pick" just wiggling the key around?

Jiggling works on the same principle as computer generated picks. You just wiggle them around in hopes of recreating the same bitting as the key itself.

You can get jigglers if you like, but I would advise you, as a beginner, to avoid automotive for the time being.
You can get jugglers from the phone book, but clowns are fun too.

No, bob, picking is more like imitating the key on a pin-by-pin basis. Computer picks or jigglers or other "profile picks" are closer to mirroring the entire key.

Tools like jigglers and tryout keys are a luck thing. Ive said it before, you can achieve a little bit of skill guessing which one to start with...... but its still luck. And for the post earlier (cant remember which one) the rocker picks (auto picks for ford chevy etc) are just a variation of jigglers, and are still a luck propsition.
Auto locks are easy to damage, and can present problems in picking.
