Postby deputy865 » 13 May 2005 16:28

i'm looking to buy a pick set finally and i was wondering were i could get the set were it comes in what looks like a pocket knife. (like the 1 above the first box of 5 on the top of the page, looks like a pocket knife!) anyway how much are these and were can i get it? Does Southord have them? LINK! Southord does take money orders correct. How does one go about that. Let me guess i'm going to get yelled at and made fun of for thise thread!

If I had a nickle....

I would have 5 cents.

I personally have not used one, I use home made ones which opened every lock I've tried. From what I have read, your better off getting a pic set, since those, while flashy looking, are lacking feedback.

I didn't vote BTW.

I would have spend my money on tools to make picks instead. Crafting picks of your own and see that they work is one of the best feelings you can get! And as you get better at it, you will learn how to make the picks fit your technique and your style of picking.

As for raking, ever thought about giving it a search?

deputy: Judging by this question, you have not yet completed your homework. Required reading is the MIT Guide To Lockpicking and the FAQs. While you're at it, there is the article at http://www.howstufworks.com and a decent paper by Matt Blaze at http://www.crypto.com. Enjoy. Happy reading!
