ok i have a yale combination lock theat i dont know the combo for

the lock has 4 combination wheels and from playing with it it has those flase gate things

so can you give me any tips on how to crack this lock

You really could do with a search session on sesame decoders or luggage combination locks,

As a breif description, you need to be pushing somthing down the side of the wheels so that upon turning the wheels you will feel a flat spot, when you get this flat spot on the top dead centre (tdc) you simply add or subtract a number from the number showing to find the proper combo, otherwise line all the flat spots up together on the tdc and then turn all the wheels together until the lock can be unlocked.

The number to add or subtract differs depending on how many numbers are on the dials and whether the numbers spead the full 360' of the wheel or are only on part of the wheel (some wheels dont turn all the way round and some even have little levers on so they can be rotated easier)
