Wallet sized picks

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Soooo, the masculine translation of a handbag is a 'murse', what is the feminine translation of a wallet? Please think creatively, as nothing can top a 'murse' surely?

wallet sized picks

Postby johnski » 3 May 2005 21:35

I have been making some thin picks from wiper blade ribs and sweeper blades. I was using some small vacuum tubing for handle grips when I pushed two picks into it from back to back. Voila, a double ended pick with a rubber grip in the center. I found an aluminum cigar tube with a screw on top that will hold about 6 of them and a tension tool. I know it's not wallet size but it fits right in your pocket and doesn't draw any attention as I usually have a big ol' dog rocket smoking anyways ;>)

I don't know about the quality of the spelling on that site...but have to wonder if the snakes/picks have a few 'picking' mistakes.

yah Tried a number of thing and it really fits nicely , As long as you make sure to pocket your wallet with the wrench on top I never feel a thing, and when I take late night walks and get those friendly visits from the police who are just making sure that "I'm doing alright" i can open my wallet to the ID part with out showing picks, BTW i was thinking of buttoning off that section and put a warning label that "All material behind this flap is private propety and opening this section with out permission is breaking and entering!" think it would at least make them ask you first?
