Masterlock Cobination 1505 for Newbie

Hey I am trying to break this combination lock by figuring out the numbers. Also can anyone provide me with some help to this model specifically, I am pretty sure the dials won't turn one you pull the lock out, although I will verify this tommorow. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Is it even your lock? I don't think you'll get much help unless you tell us a bit more about what you're trying to do, what you've tried before and what you mean by:

"I am pretty sure the dials won't turn one you pull the lock out,"

Why tomorrow? That furthers my suspiscion that the lock is not in your possession. Please clarify.

If you are not holding the lock in your hands right now, it doesn't seem like you should be trying to open it. We will only help you open locks that are yours and you have permission to open.

Yeah I was typing my orignal post and it seemed like I was a thief! But I am not! The lock is that of my school locker so I can't take it off until next Thursday (last day of classes). Im just curious as how I can open this, I've always been interested in lockpicking but I have always failed to achieve succes lol. Anyways my combination is 33 18 31 if that helps at all

If it's your locker, why can't you get into it? If you know the combo, why can't you get into it? And yes, the combo helps a lot. Use the combo....

Here is how to open the lock, without any fancy tools too!

Go to the lock, and spin the dial three time CW stopping on a number that is odd, more than 13, and less than 54, and has both digits the same (this is a factory secret included so locksmiths can open it quickly).

Now spin the dial two times CCW stopping on a number that is divisable by 9, but greater than 10 and less than 26.

No spin the dial CW and stop on a number that when multiplied by four = 124.

Now pull the hasp- it should be unlocked.

Sorry man, no offence, but you're not being very clear. Do you want to open the locker or take it apart? If it's your locker I can't see why you can't open it, even with the combination. Once again, no offence.

By the way, it's Chrispy... there's an h in there.

I want to open the locker, even though I know the combination, I will assume I don't and I will try to open the lock without breaking it, basically I'm trying to figure out (with clicks and ticks) on how to open the lock. I can also try to break it, but nothing until thursday

Depending on the brand of the lock and the version, the method of opening it can vary slightly. My advice to you is to scrounge up your nickels and dimes, run down to the store, and buy a cheap masterlock. Learning how to crack them takes time, and it's easier if you can hold it near your ear to hear what is going on. It's also bad form to practice cracking on a lock which isn't yours. (It may be for your locker, but it's still school property.) If the lock IS yours, just bring it home when school gets out and work on it then.

As for the actual technique, learning to search is a very valuable skill. A quick Google search will pull up the required steps for you.

actually on this specific model there's nothing. Is there anyway i can modify the excel spreadsheet combinations to this lock, but I don't think that would work as maybe the internal mechanism is different.

Trying to 'crack' any combo lock that you know the combo to is difficult because you have a bias towards the numbers which you know are correct.
