NEW CHEAP PICK MATERIAL!!!!!!!

I've been in this forum for almost year and today I learned something new. Oh I'm sure this has been discussed many times in the past.

I broke a bandsaw blade a few months back and I kept it because of the metal, but I never gave it a thought about making picks or other locktools from it.

There are a couple half diamonds and some hooks I would like to make with points on the tips for pin picking. I'll give it a whirl and post if they turn out.

Every other post is about hacksaw blades so what have you been doing for a year

Seriously though, good picks can be made from blades it is down to the makers skills on whether they are any good or not,
