pick gun tips for dimple locks

has anyone made one of these, or used a manafactured one, are they any good?

i've never touched a pickgun so it may not work, but could you just put the pickgun in at 3 different angles? it would take a while longer to pick than a normal lock, but then again they take longer anyway! (by the way, i had my kaba gemini in mind when talking about dimple locks just in case some are totally different )

The pickgun tips for dimple locks are just a sort of needle, make your own out of a syringe needle and it works the same,

In my opinion they are quite good once practiced, you have to work each pin stack separately and when they have quite a harsh crossover you will have to lift the other rows pins up slightly to get the ones you need so if there is a low setting one you can get in a mess,

The gemmini is a very easy pick with a syringe needle without the pickgun

i was thinking of a wide normal blade with a twist in it so that i've a flat sheet of metal in the lock. take a look at the "novum pick adaptor, dimple key system" http://www.zieh-fix.com/Shop/index.html?lang=en-us
at the moment the only spare dimple lock i have is a kaba 20, and it's resisting pin by pin picking.

Sorry i couldnt get any reasults for 'novum pick adaptor, dimple key system' on that site and its such a slow site on dial up i didnt stay around,

If you have a look at your lock you will notice you can get a needle in and the idea is not to pin by pin pick it is to draw out the needle with slight pressure to basically rake the pins

Ive never seen a flat adapter for a gun but all the commercial ones ive seen are just needles as said, try it out and let us know how you get on.

I haven't really tried mine yet so can't comment on its effectiveness but, in case anyone's in any doubt, the Novum Adaptor from Zieh-fix will fit on the HPC gun.
