tubular lock pick can't fit

hey guys,

I have a South Ord 7-pin tubular lock pick.

However, i can't pick my own Kryptonite U-lock (not the newest ones)
it fit the older lock like Abus U-lock.

It seems that the diameter is slightly bigger, so it can't fit(1-2 mm)

I want to make my lock pick just a little bit thiner, enough to fit in. What do you think I should do? is there any tool that you know that can scrub some metal off.? thanks in advance.

1......look at the business end of your tubular pick
2......look closer
3......do you really think you can spare 1-2 mm around off this end
4......gently place the southord 7 pin tubular pick down on a table
5......step away from the table
6......bow and ask for forgivness

7......go out and buy a bic pen

If you insist on getting rid of some metal, you can use files, sandpaper, or anything along those lines, but as pip pointed out, that's a bad idea.

Those feelers are pretty thin as-is, and already get worn down if you've used the pick a lot in normal use. Thus, I think sanding it down using sandpaper or a grinder will just make it weaker and ruin a perfectly good pick. You're just using the wrong tool for the job, so I would try to use a different approach.

................ok maby not all.. but it doesnt cost upwards of 90$ or more. I think u bought the wrong tool.

When you locksmith for a living, like itsrich obviously doesn't, you can't depend on a bic pen; you need to get the proper tools.
