When snapping the lock was mentioned earlier i'm assuming you are referring to the following tool, am I correct?
http://www.multipick-service.com/en/tools/2010_en.htm

From looking at this tool and the little bit of info provided it looks like it slips over the little bit of the cylinder that juts in a euro profile lock and then grips really tight. You then use the length of the device to rip the lock out of the door, correct?

If this goes beyond what belongs in the open forum delete this and pm me plz. I'm not always sure what is acceptable in open forums and what is not so if someone from the secure forums would clarify it for me I'd be appreciative.

Protec

Postby Eldoc » 17 Jun 2005 11:55

hi all
could someone tell me something about Protec S?

This should be a new version of Abloy Protec. I'm interested to know if is it possible to duplicate this kind of key and, if yes, how it is possible to do it.

Thanks

I was just thinking about buying some abloy cylinders... so I should be expecting a price drop on the older style cylinders?

protec

Abloy says: it is possible to duplicate a Protec key, but it is no possible to duplicate a Protec S key.
This is the difference. But, is this true?
Could someone help me?

Thanks all
