Ok so I have read through my guides and would love to know what this unusual snake tounge shaped mailbox pick is used for.

I gather from the name it is used to pick/ rake double sided waffers in... mailboxes but I know names can be decievng and explanation/link to the forum I didnt search for would be just great.

thanks, Muds

A pic would be good,

A normal snake rake can be used on most locks quite succesfully,

A snakes tongue to me is forked at the end and i dont remember a pick like that so it either is a specific mailbox tool or a we(i) need a picture,

It is also quite useful for wafer locks. Although the size and angles of the tips in the one pictured in those templates have been changed. They have been made smaller and less curved and the pick works a lot better now.
