I dont know of any trainers that will come out to your house to teach a newbie but you never know,

Why do you not want to travel? I think the new group I.C.L (insitute of certified locksmiths) are offering training and this may be one of the better bets for you than any of the cowboy firms,

All i personally can suggest is to look through the training threads, choose a firm and phone them up to ask if they will come out, other than that it sounds like you may be asking for a locksmith to come and teach you a few tricks but i would be supprised if anyone would do that, again because of your newbie status.

Sorry i cant help much more than that but i thought i would just give you a few pointers to try incase you get no other reply

there are many 1 to 1 courses across the uk, from mine in Nottingham to others in guildford and all over.

sadly to bring a course to you would mean more cost and you losing out as the amount of kit needed to do this properly is too much to cart around .

look at www.theinstituteofcertifiedlocksmiths.org also go to my site and read the faq section about set up in uk, it may make you think and realise costs involved.

Normally a course would run from 0900hrs - 1700hrs (ish) with a 1hr break for lunch.

It all depends on how good a listener you are as well as how quickly you pick things up along with how eager you are to learn how much.
