having bought this pick at GMEX and fully tested it on over 40 different locks from the ranges , i can now confidently state that this pick is for me 100% top of the game.
All 40 locks successfully opened in under 5 mins, no pin changes , 100% first time every time.

to further test this , when i had the pleasure of 101's NKT over to pick BS locks, i thought , let a guy who had never used a decoder before have a go, he successfully opened 6 of these locks at random, new from the box 1st time every time in 5 mins a lock, he was a natural, but even so having never used the tool before or any tool like it, it speaks volumes for the picks ease of use and effectiveness.

The pick is of similar design to the new ERA invincible decoder , though is far more reliable and far easier to master.

plus side of the tool is that its 100% effective , and simple to use , The down side to the tool is its cost at £550 plus vat , you would need to meet alot of these to make it pay, but as many have found out , its a bugger of a lock to pick, a swine to drill, and unless you destructively drill for stump on the right shoe, almost impossible to open with under 4 holes and a lot of time.

Not for everyone, but usefull if likely to open at least 10 of these a year, or on warrant runs in an area with these locks, otherwise impossible to warrant cost of tool, but oh my it is shiney !!

Sounds very nice pinky, when are you buying your second one

I take it the boys at SV are responcible for this one,

Ive not come across the lock to date, what makes it so difficult to pick?

Thanks for a good heads up.

I now have 40 of these locks in stock , and all open with this pick in under 5 mins, in fact every trainee ive had is opening these in under 5 mins with the pick.

yes its safe ventures, i now have and use every pick they sell bar the avocet, and all are outstanding in their different ways, expensive but do pay for themself long term.

all the decoders are great , but dilute the lockpicking skills of a locksmith, as anyone can use them with minimle training, though always best to fine tune picking skills with a pick like the cb pocket curtain pick, as this is pure picking and where i get the buzz from.

picking can still be quicker too, i can pick a legge bs3621 lock quicker with the cb pick than i can set up decoder and take impression, its the skill and the passion that the uk lockey lacks, which is why ive missed 101 whilst been busy over past few months, its the hobby guys and lock nuts that share the passion and get that buzz, which is why i stick with and support 101, because the passion and enthusiasm here is whats missing in industry..
