INGERSOLL SC71 LOCK OPENER.

H i there! Have been a member of this forum for about six months now but this is my first post! I'm working full time at the moment in engineering. But in time, I would like to work as a locksmith. Have recently purchased a small concern off a local guy who is a friend of a friend. This included picks, tools, manuals, etc. Training myself to pick locks and understand them a bit too. I was reading through my SKS catalogue yesterday and noticed the SC71 Ingersoll lock opening tool. It looks just like a bent length of rod!!!! Could somebody please enlighten me on how this tool actually works? It's just that I was thinking of buying it for when the time came to use it. Any help would be much appreciated!!

Just a tip, all I did was a quick search of LP101. I really don't like the built-in search function, so I really recommend that folks get the Google toolbar (now available for IE AND Firefox). With it, you can do a search within just the current site (LP101 in this case), generally with better results. Google search won't be as current, however.
