haha my new homebrew plug spinner

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

 :D

yes! yes it did! the other stick in this pair is still in tact, and the long one doesn't need to be that long, i'm probably gonna cut it.

i ended up shortening the long half down to just the length of the decal. and the prong end of the spinning part down to about a half centimeter... it bent out of place from the resistance of the plug on about it's 30th use. so i cut it down for shorter more stable prongs. just one, not both. the short one touches the first pin and the long one goes... well AH YOU UNDERSTAND
sorry it's early in the morning and i have too much coffein in me to think straight of words

Sorry but that has to be the roughest tool ive seen this year, and ive seen a few,

BUT, it works and you designed and made it yourself and are a newbie, well done, keep it up and we may just have another inventer with us,

Maybe a cocktail stick through the rotating part could have the tool primed and then when the stick is pulled out the tool spins?

You may want to try a bent out keyring for the prongs, it will not bend as easy,

Develop your idea to make it neater, smaller and stronger and your laughing,

The easiest plug spinner i have heard of is just put an elastic band on the end of your tension wrench, hold the wrench , pull the band and let go of the wrench.

WELL DONE

i was thinking of something along these lines... but hadn't finalized any ideas. that sounds perfect... thanks

GREAT idea. again i was trying to think of something stronger. that should be enough for it.

No worries,

I can tell when some thought has gone in to somthing and when an understanding of the processes invloved has been used,

I see from your posts that you are ready to learn and take advice when needed and to that i take my hat off,

If you want any help, advise or just want to run a design or idea past me you are most welcome to send me a pm,

Have you thought about useing a hollow outer tube and having the spinning tube running down the middle? you could have the elastic on one end and the prongs on the other, only an idea.

I guess you took that 'pick-fu' saying seriously ;-) Really an amazing feat of Duct Tape Engineering.
