I'm thinking since cred's a locksmith and this is LP101. He's probably referring to the amount of work he's been getting lately as a locksmith, but maybe that's just me.

I have been a bit busier than usual the past few weeks with some people wanting there patio door locks repairing/changing before they jet away on holiday, most have been broken for months and have not bothered to get them repaired until now. Some kept them locked with bit of wood or metal jammed from handle to the fixed door and the others didn’t bother to lock them at all.

 Exactally my position, ive done 3 houses this week that had the kitchen table against the door as they couldnt lock it, im getting loads of upvc doors as well at the moment due to the excessive tempreture changes weve been having (well thats what ive put it down to), people going on holiday is a good earner, as you say the patio doors need to be seviced most of the time,

This has given me the idea of going seeing my local travel agent to leave some leaflets there 8)

Hi Shrub
I have also got a lot of UPVc adjustment jobs due the hot conditions and the travel agents is a good idea.
Thanks

Last week was very quite not only my own jobs I do work for reactfast and they have had nothing. So it looks like everyone is feeling the pinch if it make you feel any better. Put it down as you say Cred to the summer holidays. Glad my tax return is due soon
