Help opening shed lock PLEASE!

I have a shed with a lock on the door. The door opens like a garage door. There is a handle below the round lock it is not a pad lock but built into the door. It is a Raymor lcok it ays Raymoor MFG CO on the hangle but doesn't say anything else. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to open it? I tried what I thought was the key and it fit in, I turned it and the key broke. I managed to get the key out but if i can't open the lock then I will have to pay $100 plus for a locksmith. Please someone help me.

Try going in a window if you can, or bypassing the latch. If you can't pick a pin tumbler lock then I don't know what to tell you...

If there is any other way into the shed, try to enter it. Once inside, you will be able to open the door. Without any more info on the lock, or where you are located, That is all the advice I can offer.

The window is open but there is a spider near it- I'm not going near the spider! :x


Just kidding of course there is no other way into it. The door is the only way but it is locked. There is no way to disassemble the door. I appreciate you trying to help, I am new at picking but have picked a few door locks. I was wondering what type of picks would be best to use on this lock.

Knock the hinges right off.

Have a look at the templates of the home brew lockpicks and make up a couple - diamond and feeler are about best - or go posh and print off Raimundo's picks instructions and make them (top tip!!)

Make up a feeler pick - or even bend a hair pin.

Push it into the rear of the lock and pull out gently.

Listen for the pins/wafers dropping

1- establish how many pins are in the lock
3 - 5 pins should be no problem
5+ pins practice prior to going live on the lock

2- make up a tension wrench and a pick

3- pick the lock
Making sure that it is clean and servicable (it might have been the right key - lock could be broken)

If its a wafer lock (single sided) rake the lock - it should pop open

Just drill it out man. Then go to the hardware store and buy a new lock.

I think the same as geno drill it then but a new lock cheaper than paying $100 to get it open...

Post a picture/link of this lock.
Describe the door.
Describe the shed.
State your country so we can at least take a GUESS at what you are
calling a normal garage door.
Can you see hinges?
Is there any gaps around the door?
Is there a gap UNDER the door?
What sort of handle is on the inside?

Well yes actually it was my shed not sure what you are talking about and I gave you all the information on the shed and the lock that I had. You can't take sheets off of it without seriously damaging it. I am just learning to pick and didn't really have time to screw around learning how to pick it ect because my baby had already been locked in there in 95 degree weather for 5 or six hours so...

And I think the lock was broken so it was a lost cause to pick it, we ended up just drilling the shit out of it although it took a while. And yes the baby thing was a joke lol. thanks for your suggestions

Yes I did drill the keyway but may be able to use it as a practicew lock. The only problem is that the plug wont turn because the drilling kind of locked it with the hull of the lock. Why do you ask?
