Have a look at the templates of the home brew lockpicks and make up a couple - diamond and feeler are about best - or go posh and print off Raimundo's picks instructions and make them (top tip!!)
Make up a feeler pick - or even bend a hair pin.
Push it into the rear of the lock and pull out gently.
Listen for the pins/wafers dropping
1- establish how many pins are in the lock
3 - 5 pins should be no problem
5+ pins practice prior to going live on the lock
2- make up a tension wrench and a pick
3- pick the lock
Making sure that it is clean and servicable (it might have been the right key - lock could be broken)
If its a wafer lock (single sided) rake the lock - it should pop open
