Impressioning - real world feedback please.

Looking for feedback, based on experience, from locksmiths please:

How many times, would you say, per month, do you actually impression a lock?

Just curious to know if this is a fairly well-used skill by the average locksmith, or is it more of a "special" tool in your arsenal of skills.

8-10 times every 2 months

In the past week, I have impressioned 3 locks. Two filing cabinets and one travel trailer (caravan in the UK).

It is a worthwhile skill to aquire as a locksmith. While picking will open the lock, it won't give you a key if someone has lost their key.
