Quick tip: Double pronged tension wrenches

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Quick tip: Double pronged tension wrenches

Postby MudSlinger » 26 Jul 2005 15:07

Hey Its been a while since I have posted but I recently made a nice strong Un-hombrew-looking homebrew double pronged tension wrench(breath)
Just take a fondu fork and grind it a bit then heat the metal bend it and temper it and your set, dont know if anyone even cares Im just throwing it out there. No point in information beeing kept secret *cough* invite only section *cough* man I need a Halls Fruit Breezer.

It's always good to share information. You'll find this tool will only fit a certain type/amount of locks, but might be a useful tool anyway. :)

yea i can imagine it would be helpful...at least until you found a lock that was too small or big for it, then you'd have to rely on the rgular wrenches...its cool anyways tho, maybe if i can find a fondu fork ill try it.
