If you actually read his OP (Original Post), he's already picked the lock.....

Yes, you will have to constantly explain yourself, because your post didn't mention the fact that it was a tip for next time, and didn't address the problem that the thread was about. Writing proper posts rather than a few lines that spout how good you are might help. Not getting on your case, just getting a bit sick of the whole know-it-all attitude. You might be the best locksmith (if that's what you are) in the world, but at least write a professional post with as much information that you can.

Hey I am here trying to learn like the rest of us..... I am a student of the art, I take it one day at a time. I have to find my feet here a bit I guess. Maybe we are all at different levels here, I will try to explain more in future. Its just that you guys seem quite sharp... I was hoping that we were all on the same page here. Thanks for the heads up guys, I will try to be more of a team palyer in future :)

There is another expliantion, I doubt its relativant though.

I have a cheap Ross deadbolt, the core isn't a cylinder but more of a cuboid with 5 circular ribs along its length for the drivers to resty on as the core turns. when turning the lock if the circlip is off you can accidently pull the core forard just enough for the drivers to fall between the ribs and stick the thing. cheap lock with a nice feature to prevent repinning @.@

Took a while with a hammer and screwdriver to bash the thing apart, wish my camera worked then what gibbereish I was rambling on about might make more sense with the picture of Fred, Ok so I stuck googly eyes on the remains of that cheap lock.

Sillyboy, I'm sutre your forgiven. In the same way newbies are told to search instead of asking pointles Questions again and again. I suggest people considering insulting long standing members, to picture them selves on a stage about to tell a joke that insults and angers everyone in the 1000 stong audience who just so happen to be armed with eggs, fruit, veg, coins, bottles and chairs. if you wouldn't say it to their face, don't!
