Lee Industries Tubular pick Model AP-502

Can anyone find some info about this pick? I want to know the production year and price. I thought the Peterson Pro-1 is the first pick designed with knob. Is this pick work the same principle as the Peterson Pro-1?

Here's one similar, with the price http://www.lockpickshop.com/Merchant2/m ... _code=PKA2 there are also exact copys being sold in europe for €400.95 ($507.14) called the 2900 tubular pick 'Deluxe' as for the year...??? As for does it work along the same method as the P'Pro-1 apparently so!

The Lee Industries line of tools were/are amazing. I know his widow and son, and live near them. I have several of their tools, notably, the Lee "nose puller". The tubular pick was great, all machined metal, comes in its own box, etc. Made circa early to mid 70s.
