That is one serious lock. perhaps you could Pick the main 6 then move onto the 3; all the while keeping tension on the plug. Perhaps a bumpkey would work?

Nice lock, that's a great animation they have. Unless I am missing something, I would pick it like a normal lock. What causes the sidebar to move in? Does it just roll in when the lock starts to turn?
Olympus, I don't know what your skill level is, but that lock is going to require some skills
Good luck, let us know how things are coming along.

I'm not exactly sure if it can be bumped, but you could try cutting the sidebar depths either to their lowest depth, or cutting them correctly (corresponding to the key).
That lock is probably quite hard to pick, it may have quite a few security pins, and it has a sidebar, but I couldn't see the sidebar or regular pins clearly.
If you want to try to pick it, go ahead or if you think it's impossible at this point, save it for when you gain more skills. As geno said, try setting all of the normal pins and then go for the sidebar.

Isn't this an ASSA lock? Or are my eyes just bad? When I look at the key in the video, it says ASSA on it. Though again I could be wrong. In that case then it can be bumped, do a search for Barry's video of him bumping an ASSA lock.
Lock picking is an art, not a means of entry.

Anyone know how to copy the animation?
I'd love that in my info/pictures collection.

Yes, it's an ASSA lock. I'm not sure why the site is called ASSAR.
