The "Easy Entrie V5" is a wonderful bit of kit. It will also cut a key from the data you enter into your laptop, take readings off a key for later use, reproduce almost any key perfectly, cut lots of keys without hassle, and there is a "replay" so you can cut a key multiple times from one reading.

You also don't have to use the clever blanks, it will cut a key from standard blanks if you want it to.

It can't do one of the anti-bump KABA lock with an overhang in the key, it can't do those with ball-bearings, etc. obviously, and it might not do Mul-T-Lock style, and won't do Abloy. Might be possible to do mortice lock keys.

Aside from that, it does everything, whether or not you have the blank!

We cut a few hundred keys without a hitch.

Non-restricted blanks are fine for discussion, and duplication by any means.

This is in reference to the blank itself, not impressioning for the purposes of making a working key. (big difference)

Awesome. I've been trying to come up with a dremel guide that would allow me to do what the Easy Entrie Machine does manually. I stumbled across just what I was looking for at Bimart a couple weeks ago. Dremel makes a Router Table that looks like it would work perfectly. I haven't picked one up yet but I get paid pretty soon and it's at the top of my list. If it works well I'll try and post pictures of my setup and some resulting homemade blanks.
