When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

LOL   ! Nice work on the makeup cases! I'm always much more impressed with someone who does something by being creative and improvising something of their own than someone who does the same thing equally as well but just does it the same way as everyone else with something already made up for them (did that make sense?). IOW, I'm always more impressed with the people that make/improvise their own gear than those that just buy it. yea lol that made sense.
and im so excited i finally found my dremel and i thought i had lost it! so now when i get home from work i can start in on my hacksaw blades!
oh by the way, the sharp part of the blade, should i just take that off using sandpaper?

when i make my pick i just grind it off with my bench grinder but if you dont have one a dremmel or a mill bastard metal file would work.

No, unless you have a lot of patience. Use a bench grinder, in lieu of that, use a dremel. 
Some things may be pick proof, but everything can be bypassed....

chrispy i have a lock that is made by "Home Security" but its not a padlock is like a door lock and when i picked it the whole plug fell out last night haha (i am some extra pins now )
