You should just master one handed picking first. When i first did this, I invented the ring handle pick that has a ring that fits over the long,(bird) finger, so you dont drop the pick, the pick looks like a 6 or a 9 with the second finger in the loop and the pick tip on the other end, for tension, I made a small loop on the end of a short tensor, and for light tension, i used a rubberband to the little finger of my right hand. the lock was a padlock which locked a barndoor type slide bolt inside a steel inspection door on a boxbeam bridge. So I had to find a way to lift the padlock to present the keyhole and hold it steady, for this I used binding twine, there was a round hole in the door that you could only reach one arm through, so i tied the padlock with the bailing twine, and reached in with my undroppable picks. It was a master #5 padlock. That was a long time ago in my adventurous period.
