I have seen grinding done with an improvised coolant stream done by having someone use a liquid dish detergent bottle and squirting a stream of water on the workpiece while grinding. this cools it and makes it somewhat easier to se e by quenching the sparks.

Forgot to say that was a bench grinder not a dremel, I don't want anyone to get electrocuted and have the pick thrown back into their face at the same time. excuse the double post, moderators please edit that
