I need help on a warded padlock

How do you actually "pick" a warded padlock. I have been trying to pick my unnamed warded laminated masterlock for two days now without any success.

I could kick you for asking that! Seriously, it's easy. Figure out how the lock works (it's absurdly simple) then using a "T" shaped pick you'll be able to open almost any of them.

I'll kick you to, but only after I explain:

The bitting on your key... it's not bitting. It's just there for strength. The inside of the lock consists of solid plates blocking a straight piece of metal from pushing on the spring latch and opening the lock. However, all you have to do is get that t shaped pick (like the one on the bottom in the links image at the top of the page) and put it in, and turn. BAM!

Open.

I am sorry, but you are a minute too late. I just had a thermite party. Maybe the problem was me using a L shaped pick instead of a T shaped pick.
