HOW DO I PICK A 4 LEVER LOCK??

Colour, sash,deadlock,size,if it has a face plate what's on it. what do the levers look like open ended or closed any anti picks ?

I love lever locks, especially my ERA sash lock... so hard to pick, i find it just a bit harder then a legge yellow.

Any ideas what lock we are dealing with here VICIUS, btw is your caps stuck or something?

Generally the modest 2 wires will get the basic lever locks open, and sometimes the good old curtain locks.

Basically you are creating 2 L shapped wires, the tensioner L's are just a bit taller than the lever pick.

You search for the talon, which is on the bolt, and depending on which way the lock is situated is pulled back the correct way to apply tension on the levers.

Then you lift the levers from back to front, then maybe it will open!

There are better picking descriptions ..but for that you will have to search.

We have one on the wall .. a little thing which is a 20 second opening, heres a few photos .. note the 2 thin levers and 2 thick .. easy with 2 wires or a 2 in 2 pick ...

Also, the British Standard means that most basic attacks are instantly foiled. Even a rubbish door with a good lever lock on it is hard to kick open, as it has a great big steel holder that comes with it. You can't simply push the bolt back with a lever, you will have fun drilling the hardplate or sawing the bolt, you can't simply overlift them, nor bump them, or even use two wires, and so on.

Compared to a Euro, they are a hundred times better, and they don't have other weaknesses like a poor latch mech. or they might be too long or whatever.

Conformity to a good known standard is what insurance companies love above all else. Well, perhaps except for refusing a claim...
