Do a search for 'spool' or 'security pins'.

It's hard to tell if your describing a regular lock or a security pin lock.

the pins of a regular lock
_______ ______
| | / \
| || |
|_______| \______/

top pin /|\ bottom pin
|
sheer line seperation

This is a side view of course,
does this look like the pins of your lock?

Okay so much for that text drawing, it did not work out at all. Apparently I don't normally hit "preview" and the format doesn't like multiple spaces. :shock: :shock:

To do an ascii drawing, use the "Code" tag, and then it will appear exactly as you type.

I'm pretty sure its a security pin, its in a spool shape, but i just changed that spool for a normal pin and i opened it in a second other wise i could take quite a while, i will be going to 3 pins soon so wish me luck

but just b/c I'm wondering what got yall into lock picking?
