I've been reading some threads here about bump keys and watched bumping keys revisited and had a question as to the design of the key itself. I usually see keys that are clearly defined so you know where the pins rest but then there are others where the top is flat and several pins may land on it.. then how do i know where to file down?
Like here is a picture of a key template that i found somewhere in this forum...
In situations like this, where would you file down for point B & D on the second picture.. I figure the rest of the points should be filed down further since the points are too high?
