Now am I alone in thinking that SKS have a bit of a reputation for suppling stock, tools etc to the NODDY END of our market?

I wouldnt say noddy they can supply your daily supply of stock quite efficently although i am always after some one cheaper if i can but for those more technical orders then they dont really stock a wide range.

They are good if you only need a few things as the free postage starts at Â£50, not many other suppliers match that.Also its not all noddy stuff, take the dino plug spinner for instance.

I think what Christopher(hello mate) is trying to say is that SKS will supply key machines to local councils etc hence taking work away from the locksmith,also locksmith tools to non locksmiths.Am i right here Chris?

I have seen all kinds of people buying all kinds of stuff at the trade counter. I admit it's a couple of years since I have been there but doubt much would have changed ?

I cant believe anyone could be so precious about a supplier that is both courteous and prompt. Granted their range is limited but the catalogue is easy to obtain, they answer your calls both on the phone and e-mail and a Â£50 delivery waiver is well worth any other problems discussed here.

A few other companies could take a lesson from SKS in customer capture skills; there are a few who dont even respond at all when you ask to set up an account unless youre spending a few hundred with every order.

Sks are good but the machines are over priced with little back up and you have to carefully check your order each time you receive it otherwise worth useing and as said the free postage saves loads,

I got a really good deal on a Silca Bravo a while back - cheaper than anywhere else .......
