Pickmasters Fiber Pick Sets

Info on New Tool

Got a cold call from a guy in the USA who is hawking a "concept" in cylinder picksets based on a fiber needle that can "sense" when a pin has been set.

Details at http://www.pickmasters.net/pickmasters.html

Sounds too good to be true but as I haven't seen them in operation I don't want to dismiss someones good idea; he wants $125 a set.

I would value any opinion or experience others have of this product. I assume the LP101 stateside members will have encountered this "concept" design. :?:

Searches are never easy. You can put it too many or too few words or even spell a word differently from someone else. (eg fiber fibre)

By the way, was it Lyneham?

information

There is not enough information on that web site to work out what they are going on about apart from that they want your money. If you really had a good new idea you would say more than this, so my guess is that it is over-priced junk.

I'd never buy from the guys who brought you the only adult only lockpicking video that actually proves they have no idea which way one has to open a deadbolt.

I'm not far away from you. I used to know a pilot at Lyneham back in the days I could afford to fly privately, and he *cough* let me do a few circuits. Not in a C130 I should add, and actually not at Lyneham either. Enough said.
