new at picking, took apart Schlage deadbolt, help!

I think cheese sticks would be too soft and a bit unhygenic but thats the funniset and best idea for a plug follower ive heard :lol:

and now i somehow see myself stopping off at the grocery store tomorrow and buying mozzarella sticks, getting home and not remembering why on earth i bought them.

sometimes i use the shaft of my 4 in one screwdriver as a follower if i am to lazy to walk out to the truck

I sugest that if your going anywere to buy something to make into a plug follower that u just go to a locksmith shop and buy a real plug follower. I think I payed like $2 canadian for mine and its already the right shape and size and has a handy little slot to line your sping and pin up both at once.

Different cores have different follower heads. You'd probably need about a dozen to cover the main rekeying jobs.
