Bummer.

May have to take off the gallery cap. Try prying it off on each side with a small screwdriver..

It is pulled off. All I have is a tube with holes in it, which I am able to stick a pen straight through (well, i was able to) with a plug stuck in it.

This no editing is really annoying.

Or is the cap you are reffering to what the springs are jammed up agaisnt, in the "pin thing"

OMG. This is amazing. I'm playing around with my first lock, ever. I bet a lot of you vets out there cant remember that. Ive got all the theory downpat, now for the prac . . .

Now be careful with those pins 8)

Consider working over a towel or something to keep them from disappearing.

Okay. I jsut slipped the wrong driver in by accident, so the key doesn't work. Now to get picking . . .!

I did it. I cannot believe it. I did it. Just fiddling, holding it all teh wrong way, then a quick twist of the wrench, and it turned. Ohhh, that is amazing. What a rush. Jeez. And it's that easy. Oh, yeah!! :P

You should be able to just yank the plug out. You'll kill all the springs but it's better than nothing.
