
The reading is the key

cut the marks and you have the key, its an exact impression.
A thinned down flat file or a good thin file will work or a needle file, i dont do that many but ive done it both ways, ive used my cutter and done it free hand or ive filed at the door, if the customer just wants the keys replacing (lost keys i always suggest a rekey or new lock) then you just cut a proper blank and transpose the other 2 cuts on the side you remved to get your reading.
