B.t.w.
Maybe a little OT, but however.. What do you people use to replace the clip with, if it breaks to much or you loose it or something? The lock is only going to be used for picking, so the material doesn't need to be so strong. The most important part is that the plug doesn't fall out by itself or by "light force" (like dropping it on the floor), or that the plug moves so much that any pin falls out. We don't want that to happen

A thing that is good is if it is easy to remove and put back again.
I just tried a rubber band for fun, and it worked well but as I expected the plug moved a bit because rubber bands is so soft. Maybe a metal string will work better? Probably. (Strings are funny).
With that in mind it seems pretty unnecessery to put back the original clip if you only are going to use the lock as a "picklock", since it's less work, easier and goes faster with a metal string or a rubber band (rubber band in the worst case, if you don't like strings by any reason (they can possible hurt you, rubber bands can not)).
And another thing, thanks to illusion and everybody else for making me understand how the plug stays in the housing (which also made me understand how to repin locks), that's the only part (I think) that I haven't understood in how locks work until now.
