Hi Welcome to the forum,
Couple things to clear up here. Those 2 objects together do not make a 'lockpick' If you were crafty enough to unbend a safety pin and shape it into a snake rake or a hook pick, then you would have a lock pick. The small flathead (by the way it is called slotted) screwdriver is used to turn the lock and to apply torque to the cylinder so you can bind the pins. This is called a tension wrench.
Trouble with this set up is that the safety pin, even thuogh it's stiffer than a paperclip, is still not as still as a real pick made my a lockpick company, and when you do bend that screwdriver tip, it's in the shape of a V you would have to file a lot to get it flat enough to go into a keyway and stay there while picking.
Third, please use some form of spell check when posting a written message to the group. Ebonics and yo yo yo slang are ok in AOL chat rooms, but your words and the way you use them is very important when discussing technical matters on this forum. I'd like to smack your English teacher for allowing things like 'sumthin' That word is spelled 'something' and 'outa' should be 'out of' and is not the same as 'outta'
And yes it matters. maybe not on AIM with your friends or on your myspace profile, but when you write a letter to someone or post a message on a public forum, it's important how you present yourself if you ever hope to be respected and taken seriously.
Also, don't bother with safety pins and screwdrivers. If I was kidnapped and needed to get out of a locked room, maybe I'd try a safety pin and screwdriver, but how often does that sort of thing happen?
There are much better things to use when starting out, I have some examples right
