is this to say you took this lock off of your own door? like a front door? if so i suggest NOT putting it BACK ON just buy a new lock, if this is the case, then you should know two things:
1) DO NOT PICK LOCKS YOU RELY ON.
2) DO NOT MESS WITH LOCKS YOU RELY ON.
these are very important, especially if you're a n00b (which you are) now picking WILL NOT ruin a lock, but many times n00bs can and will (i did once) do something that isnt supposed to happen while normally using a lock (such as the key is supposed to hold the pins in place, a pick doesnt) and something goes wrong.
eg: pinstacks get stuck and you have to disassemble the entire lock to fix it, or springs fly out and are lost, ruining the lock.
so dont use locks you rely upon...thats important.
if you arent using a lock you rely on, then sorry for the harsh tone there, many (if not all n00bs) need to be told this bit of info before something bad happens.
as for disassembly of the lock, NONE of us can help ya without pics or brand/model. (pics are WAY better.)
