So what can I do with this lot??

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Thanks Shrub - I knew what you meant. I just thought that cigars came in cardboard packs marked Hamlet... (can you still buy Hamlet?). "Happiness is..............."

You must be raking the dosh in if you can afford to buy cigars that come in individual tubes. I bet you employ a butler to light them for you as well! And one to carry your ashtray!

I have recd the knife and it is fab as a pick handle for those blades. If you do have a spare alloy tube Shrub I would be grateful. I could then post pics of the entire 'pocket' set.

regards

I am a smoker, but no cigar expert, but here in Germany it's the cheap stuff that is sold in those tubes. They have them on display on like gas stations, right next to the cash register.

I don't think the big-buck capitalists would even consider buying a cigar like this. The tube is to keep them fresh and moist, and if you are rich you buy them in wooden crates hand-carved by cuban virgins and put them in your expensive humidor (kind of a fridge for cigars, regulates temp(?) and most importantly moisture) to keep them fresh.
Due to financial limitations the light at the end of tunnel has been turned off until further notice.

Well the only reason i may have a odd case somewhere is that when i go to Amsterdam i usually visit a nice cigar shop and buy some off them in the afore mentioned 'crates' (although theres a fine line between the cheap nasty stuff in the poor wooden boxes and the good stuff in solid boxes, a lot do still come in a card box even if they are good ones) and put them in my humidor when i get home but if theres a brand that takes my fancy i shall just buy the odd one of it to try so next time i visit i can get a box of them if i like them, i spend around £100-£150 on cigars to fetch home with me each time i go,

Ill have a look around, maybe ive got something i can send, pm me your addy and we can go from there mate
