I was reading about the medeco high security padlocks, and they claim to have a "unique elevating and rotating tumbler pin system". I don't believe that I will be able to open one of these any time soon (not that I can spend $90 on a lock anyways

), but I'm curious on what this "elevating and rotating" pin is. Like, how do pins "rotate"??
I've tried to look up info on what this means, but I havent found anything about "rotating" pins
Would someone be so kind as to explain this theory?
Also, as a side note, what's a sidebar, and what's it supposed to do?
