go to http://www.lockpicks.com/subcatmfgprod.asp?0=213&1=233&2=-1&6=1 and get a half diamond, a short hook pick, and a snake rake. thoes are the most basic picks and the most used out of any set for pin tumbler locks then go to http://www.lockpicks.com/subcatmfgprod.asp?0=213&1=229&2=-1&6=1 and get a standerd wrench and a twist and that will be a full set that can open almost all pin tumbler locks but you need both tension tool and pick to pick a lock. so enjoy :D

What tools do you have right now? Also if you haven't already done it read the MIT guide.

I'm not sure what you mean by a single sided pick, but that's all you need. You said that it doesn't work -- do you really mean that you don't yet have the skill to use it? If not, why doesn't it work?

I would get this set http://www.lockpicks.com/product.asp?0=204&1=217&3=273 but I will admit that it is over kill. You might want to read the MIT guide and try to pick some locks with the tools you already have. After you have done that then decide what tools you think would be useful and go from there.

For Icelandic locks, going with the slim-line picks would probably be a good idea, as they're most likely to be European slim keyways?

Be Careful, ASSA has some locks that are nearly impossible to pick, you might want to practice on some cheap padlocks first and try and find out if your ASSA lock is a high security lock. You wouldn't want to spend to much time trying to pick it if it's one of their highest quality locks.
