Why the :( ?

Everyone here answered your question to the best of their ability.

You asked where was a good place to buy them. They all basically said the same thing...wal-mart, HD or any hardware store.

What more do you want?

Would you like specific prices, part numbers, SKU's and isle locations?

I'm just not sure what more info you are asking for.

Do you want to know who has the cheapest of all of these?

Hacksaw blades? Check a dollar store or thrift store.

Grinders? Check Harbor Frieght or Wal-Mart. You can find some on ebay if you don't mind waiting.

Dremels? Toolwarehouse, Wal-Mart, basically any hardware store. You can get them very cheap on ebay.

Pliers? Check that dollar store again or just look around the parking lots or on the side of the road.

All of this can also be found at most pawn shop and they will let you haggle them on price.

You don't need to be over 18 to buy any of this, so no worries mate.

first... get a job, then wait until you collect a pay check.
Next take the money you have earned and got to a hardware store of your liking.
Now select a bench grinder and/or rotary tool of you desire as well as some hacksaw blades.
Take you selection to the cashier.
Exchange the selected items for the aformentioned money.
The cashier will issue you a reciept and most likely place the item(s) into a bag. (side note: Do not place the bag over your head as this could end in serious injury or death)
Take purchases and exit the store, I reccomend retaining your reciept.

Ex-noob? Surely some mistake?

How about simply going to the store and buying the stuff, then, should you be refused (which you won't be, even in the UK you can buy a hacksaw blade and a grinder, even if you can't buy a knife (so you can still make your own!)) you can tell us we are all wrong.

Try not to snap your new picks in the lock, they won't be as strong as commercial steel picks, especially if you let them get too hot.

If you can't buy some stuff because you're under 18, you can go to home depot, and take your stuff to the "self checkout" lane. nobody ever watches what you scan through there. I tried to buy a propane torch and they wouldn't let me, so I came back the next day, and waltzed right through.

Alright dud ethis is what you need all can be found at habor freight.

They have a mini grinder there, it will be on the tables with the other grinders.. only this on will be smaller, it has a nice buffing wheel (cloth wheel) on it as well for polishing.

Go to the sharpening Isle (ray will appreciate this) and get a set of needle files, mine were a $1.50 usd. this will make intricate work and rounded a breeze.

Go to the Lube Isle, and somewhere in the midst you will find Rubber dip, this is a rubbery liquid (yes comes in red black ect.) Simly dip you finished pick handle in it, let it dry, Viola you have a rubber grip handel.

You can go to the electrical isle, here look for heat shrink, the actually have a bag there for like $1.70, this iwll have black, red, and white heat shrink strips. Buy these Blacks good for handels, red you might have to strech with plyers gently, and the white is good for tensions.

Next, make you way to wal mart. In the windshild wiper isle back by the sporting goods, you will find WINDSHEILD WIPERS, get the 20 or 22 in wipers, one or two will last you long enough. you do not neet to eat or temper these to bend.

Lastly the Dremel, Buyt he brand name one, with the FLex arm, and go buck wild with attachments, there all nifty and do diffrent jobs. Have questions about a few ask.

Last than Lastley you will need a can of spray SILICON lubricant, and also a set of emeroy paper (black colored sanding paper) And grap another packet of 1600 grit becuase the stuff goes fast.

If you want handels superglue will work just fine.

Is that good mate?
