Or you could just make your own, all you need are a few new sharp files and some feelergauge or if you can get it, sweeperbristle, many other things will also be easy to grind into pick, the cheapest wooden handled steak knifes have thin blades, just the right size for grinding a pick out of, (I did say grinding, while I work mostly with files, for any really heavy mass wasting, getting rid of material til you get close to the shape where you want to carefully form the pick you can grind away all the mass,
Lots of the members here enjoy making thier own picks and even inventing variations. I think you will find this just as interesting as picking, and it will leave you with experience that you can call on anytime you would need a pick and have access to simple tools to make them. its not hard, and don't worry about templates, if you make your pick tips too large, you can re shape them smaller. the pick tips are approximately like middle cuts on a key, not to big, not too small, and its not necessary to have a full ninecut depth behind the hook, making them that large makes them less universally applicable. Make a hook and a halfdiamond, sand it real well and you will make yourself happy for a while.
