How to make fancy pick handles

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Baking soda is the same stuff with an additional ingrediant i think but you will get bi-carb from the same place as the baking soda or the local chemist,

You may also find it in home brewery stores but im not sure on that one,

Bicarbonate of Soda = sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3)

Sodium Bicarbonate is just plain old baking soda.

Caustic Soda=Lye=sodium hydroxide = NaOH
Its a strong base, and would require an acid to neutrailize (vinegar would work)

Oh, and for completeness whate vinegar is a 5% solution of acetic acid in water. Acetic acid = CH3COOH

With names like Bicarbonate of Soda, and Caustic Soda... my god are you using an old pharmacists guide?

Next thing your going to be asking about Oil of Vitriol and Aqua Fortis.

This is getting kind of confusing - says here to take reddish rich Virgin Earth, impregnate it with aqua regis, silver, serene and dew till the end of May: Then imbibe sprinklingly with dew gathered in May, and dry in gold, expose all night to the moon and air, securing it from the rain. Continue this till sublimation.
I'm also having trouble finding a philosopher's stone at the local hardware stores... Guess I'll try e-bay.
