Hello, First off, I'm new here and have been browsing the forums a bit and want to commend everyone here on their professionalism that is hard to come by these days on forums. Anyway, yesterday I took a trip to the home depot to get a pratice lock for me to start on, I only had a few bucks on me and the selection wasnt that great, a lot of larger expensive locks looking like they were going to be tough, so I picked up a Franklin rim cylinder lock which I havn't really tried yet and this Magnum lock by master. Its a brass color with the word Magnum on the front and it says No. 240 on the side.
Now I was actually able to pick this open with some try and very light tension on the lock but now I can't do it for the life of me. Does anyone have any tips or know what types of pins are in this guy and the Franklin? Thanks!
